Sean describes the traumatic incident where he was hit by an impaired driver while trying to help at the scene of a car crash. He recounts the difficult recovery process, including 16 surgeries, a lengthy hospital stay, and being on hard-core pain medicine.

Despite the challenges, Sean remained resilient and focused on his passion for running and journalism. Sean discusses the mental and physical aspects of living with a prosthetic limb, as well as his continued involvement in sports and his drive to tell stories that inspire others.
